The film was produced by Neal H. Moritz, of Fast Six fame, with a theatrical release in India on March 3, 2008 and then internationally on April 27, 2009. In the United States it was released as Battle: LA in February 2010. This movie is about a group of military police known as "cleaners" who are sent to investigate extraterrestrial weapons being found in Los Angeles but instead find an alien invasion already beginning. Battle Los Angeles Hindi 720p, the film shows a platoon of United States Marines being sent to Los Angeles after numerous strange events occur all over the world, including alien abductions and mysterious crop circles. They are sent to investigate an alien mothership lying underwater off the coast of Los Angeles. While investigating, the platoon is attacked by an unknown enemy, later revealed to be giant insect-like aliens that emerged from underground tunnels. The ensuing battle causes tremendous damage to the city of Los Angeles and leaves only a handful of marines alive, including Sgt. Michael Nantz (O'Brien), Cpl. Anthony "Shake" Bakewell (Bett), Pvt. Daniel Cerqueira (Victor Rasuk), Pvt. George Mendoza (Omar Benson Miller), and Pvt. Hector "Gerry" Rios (Ceazar Chavez). They then use heavy artillery to shoot down an alien fighter craft, and later meet with Army Lt. Stone (Beach). Stone orders them to head to Griffith Observatory to establish a base of operations, while she heads out to get her unit. The marines are then attacked by overwhelming numbers of aliens, who are revealed to be utilizing insectlike drones. The marines try to shoot the drones down, but their shots are futile against the quick-moving drone technology. The marines begin to panic as they realize their situation. The team is able to reach the observatory, but are immediately attacked by aliens. They then take part in a fierce battle with the aliens as they attempt to escape from the city. During the fight, Mendoza's father Sgt. Mendoza is killed. Mendoza attempts to avenge his father but manages to make it back to the mothership with his group of marines and navy soldiers before going missing after losing contact with them.
